Data Center Infrastructure Implementation – BAIS TNI
I was involved in the design and implementation of a data center infrastructure project for BAIS TNI, focusing on server virtualization, enterprise storage, high-performance networking, and network security.
The virtualization platform was built using Sangfor Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) to deliver a scalable, high-availability server environment. For enterprise storage, the system utilized Huawei OceanStor Dorado 3000 V6, providing high-performance all-flash storage for mission-critical workloads.
The network infrastructure was implemented using Huawei enterprise networking solutions, including:
Huawei CloudEngine 12700E as the Core Switch
Huawei CloudEngine 5700 as the Management Switch
Huawei Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) and Access Points for enterprise wireless connectivity
For perimeter security, Sophos Firewall was deployed as the primary network security gateway, providing firewall protection, VPN services, and advanced threat prevention.
Scope of Work
Deployment and configuration of Sangfor HCI virtualization cluster
Implementation of Huawei OceanStor Dorado 3000 V6 storage system
Design and deployment of core and management network architecture
Configuration of Huawei 12700E core switch and 5700 management switch
Deployment of Huawei WLC and access points
Deployment and configuration of Sophos Firewall
Integration of server, storage, network, and security systems into a unified data center architecture
System testing, optimization, and documentation
Outcome
High-performance and highly available data center infrastructure
Centralized virtualization platform for mission-critical applications
Enterprise-grade storage with high IOPS and low latency
Secure and reliable network environment
